Arsenal have been linked with a move for £12million Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to Forza Italian Football.
The Gunners are on the lookout for a new right-back this summer, as they fear they will lose contract rebel Bacary Sagna to PSG. They have also been linked with Daryl Janmaat of Feyenoord and Manchester City’s Micah Richards.
Lichtsteiner has been an impressive former for the Serie A champions, showing some strong displays both at right-back and in midfield, and his versatility and attacking quality from the back is said to appeal to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Wäre ein toller Transfer, aber so recht glauben kann ich das nicht. Vorallem hat er noch bis 2015 Vertrag und 12m Pfund empfinde ich doch als recht wenig, wenn man bedenkt, dass er für Juve doch ein sehr wichtiger Spieler ist.

Scheinbar will man Lichtensteiner unbedingt zu Arsenal lotsen. Würde mich freuen, wenn das möglich wäre. Wäre die beste Lösung für die rechte Seite und würde, meiner Meinung nach, die Abwehr etwas stabilisieren, da Sagna etwas nachgelassen hat. Jenkinson braucht auch noch etwas, da man von seiner Leistung nicht wirklich angetan ist.

Al capitolo proposte, su Lichtsteiner c’è innanzitutto il Paris Saint Germain, anche se in queste ultime ore si sono fatte avanti con una certa insistenza l’Arsenal e l’Inter. Lo svizzero è tentato dalla Premier, e l’opzione londinese sarebbe sicuramente gradita. Sullo sfondo c’è poi l’Inter, disposta a inserirsi nel discorso con insistenza. Visto che in assenza di rinnovo con i bianconeri Lichtsteiner approderebbe in nerazzurro a parametro zero, dal punto di vista degli emolumenti la società milanese sarebbe pronta a investire parecchio. Il corteggiamento è concluso: Stephan Lichtsteiner giocherà nella prossima stagione con l'Arsenal. Nelle ultime ore, è stato raggiunto l'accordo tra l'esterno svizzero e i Gunners sulla base di un contratto di un anno, fino al 30 giugno 2019.
