Wie das französische Fußballportal "But! Football Club" berichtet, ist Celtic Glasgow in den Poker um Subotic eingestiegen. Zuvor wurde in den französischen Medien bereits über einen fixen Transfer zum Ligue-1-Klub AS Saint Étienne spekuliert. Auch Huddersfield mit Ex-Dortmund-Trainer David Wagner soll seine Fühler ausgestreckt haben.
Besonders die Dortmunder dürften sich über das rege Interesse am Abwehrspieler freuen. Derzeit steht eine Ablösesumme von knapp drei Millionen Euro im Raum. Mit der neu entfachten Konkurrenz könnte der Kaufpreis nochmals nach oben schnellen.
